Kakatiya University was established in August, 1976 to fulfill the aspirations of the Telangana people for higher education. The development of the University over the years has been gradual but impressive. The erstwhile Post-Graduate Centre of Osmania University was upgraded and named Kakatiya University. The University was initially accredited with B+ grade by the NAAC in 2002 and reaccredited with A grade in 2008. It has its Post-graduate Colleges at Subedari (Hanamkonda), Nirmal, Karimnagar, Godavarikhani, Khammam, and Kothagudem in addition to University Engineering College at Kothgudem. 

The University is now offering programmes in Engineering, Pharmacy, Law, Computer Science, Business Management, Education, Science, Arts, Commerce, Oriental courses in the University, constituent and affiliated colleges. The School of Distance Learning and Continuing Education (SDLCE) is offering a large number of programs through distance mode.

Instructions for Downloading the  Hall Ticket 2019:

• In order to download the Hall Ticket, the Students shall have to log on to the official website of Kakatiya University.
• Here the Students will have to check the Examination Result /Scheme section.
• Once the above mentioned section has been opened, the Students will get the link for downloading the Hall Ticket.
• After clicking on the above mentioned link, the Students will have to enter their Name, Father’s Name, and Program name and then click on submit.
• After submitting, the Students will be able to download the Hall Ticket.

Kakatiya University, Telangana Admission 2019

Kakatiya University courses are offered to the students at UG and PG level in streams like arts, science, commerce and business management, social sciences, education, engineering and pharmaceutical sciences.

Kakatiya University Undergraduate (UG) Admission

The University offers B.A., B.Sc., B.Tech, B.Li.Sc., B.Pharm, BBA and B.Com program at the UG level. The minimum eligibility to apply is Intermediate from a recognized Board of education. students will be selected on the basis of previous academic scores.

Kakatiya University Postgraduate (PG) Admission

Kakatiya University offers several programs at the PG level in streams like science, commerce, arts etc. To apply to PG programs, a student must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university/ institute with minimum required marks. Selection of students is entirely based on the marks in KU PGCET entrance exam.

Kakatiya University Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (KU PGCET) consists of 100 multiple choice questions which are further divided into two parts, Part A and Part B. The exam is of 100 marks. 

Kakatiya University MBA and MCA Admission

Kakatiya University offers MBA and MCA programs on the basis of marks obtained by the student in TSICET 2019 (Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test). This test is being conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad. the student should complete Graduation of at least three years duration from any recognized University or equivalent with minimum 50% marks and Mathematics/ Computer as the main subject in Senior Secondary Level to be eligible to apply.
